Lisa Renstrom

President, Rachel's Network

Lisa is the President of Rachel's Network, a group of women philanthropists investing in the environmental movement. Lisa is also a Director of and has served as Chairman (2004/5) and President (2005/7) of the Sierra Club. Prior to becoming a national director in 2002, she was a Trustee with the Sierra Club Foundation and chairperson of the Sierra Club Central Piedmont Group or Charlotte region. In Charlotte, North Carolina Lisa serves on the Knight Foundation Advisory Committee and the York Culture and Heritage Advisory Board. She has contributed to the community as the Executive Director of Voices and Choices of the Central Carolinas and through service on the Boards of the Catawba River Foundation, the Charlotte Raptor Center and the Simple Living Television Series. Earlier in her career, Lisa owned and operated hotels in Acapulco, Mexico. Her educational background includes the Owner Presidents Management Program at Harvard University, and a B.S in Business Administration at the University of Nebraska. In 2008, Lisa received a Masters in Public Policy at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government.
